FIRST LOOK : Koenigsegg Gemera

Christian Von Koenigsegg never stops surprising the world with his super cars. He always brings new innovations and new possibilities. This time it’s the - Gemera, which is the first four seater hyper car with mind blowing 1,700 hp !! No one in this world would have thought of putting four adults and enough luggage space in a hyper car.

Now with the looks of the car, Koenigsegg tried to bring futuristic appearance in every bit of the car. Even though it can carry four adult people and luggage, it looks sporty like other Koenigsegg cars with a whole new design. In the front profile it has a large air intake and new head lights. The side profile include with the massive doors. Like other Koenigsegg cars, Gemera has the famous scissor doors. The rear view mirror’s are replaced with camera’s which can be seen in a screen inside the cabin. The rear profile looks new with rear lights and now the exhaust is placed on the rear pillers. It uses Akrapovic titanium full system exhaust.

^{The inside of Gemera looks luxurious and spacious. Fully electronically adjustable seats with memory foam technology. This technology memo-rises a persons body and adjust for maximum comfort. The front seats are made from hollow carbon-fiber monocoques only weigh 37.5 pounds. It has large touch screen infotainment system integrated with internet connectivity. The spacious interior has mobile chargers and each seat has individual cup holders for cold and hot drinks and the audio system has 11 speakers. The larger scissor doors allows not to move the front raw seats to push forward to get in the back seat. The thought full design packaging allows to travel four persons with four pieces of luggage, three in the rear and on up front.}

^{The Gemera does offer a comfortable and luxurious ride but also gives the thrill of driving a hyper car with the monster 1,700hp powertrain. Gemera has a twin-turbocharged 2.0 litre three-cylinder cam-less petrol engine integrated with direct-drive transmission and three electric motors. It also has all-wheel drive, all-wheel torque vectoring and all-wheel steering. Two 500 hp electric motors are on the rear wheels and the third 400 hp electric motor attached to the engine crankshaft. Simultaneously, these electric motors make 1,100 hp. Working with the electric motor to propel the front wheels is what Koenigsegg calls the Tiny Friendly Giant (TFG) which produces 600hp with company’s free valve technology. The cool part is that, with this powertrain, Koenigsegg claims an acceleration of 0 to 100 in just 1.9 seconds. Koenigsegg claims Gemera has a range of 1,000 km ! which is very far than the other electric cars offer. It can travel at a speed of 300 km/hr in fully electrical mode.}
